The debut feature by Columbian-American photographer and music video director Stillz (best known for his frequent collaborations with Bad Bunny), Barrio Triste follows a group of teen outcasts who steal a news camera and begin documenting their dangerous lives in 1980s Medellín.
Featuring the first original score by experimental pop sensation Arca and produced by Harmony Korine and EDGLRD, Barrio Triste is "a compelling look at a lost generation in search of salvation, and among this year’s best first features" (The Film Stage).
