On the heels of their wildly successful 2024 Reunion show, Cincinnati’s own legends of live eclectic and energetic improv, genre-bending grooves, and “phamily” style community convergences, Ray’s Music Exchange returns to the Woodward Theater for their seventh reunion show on the biggest bar night of the year…the night before Thanksgiving! Michael “Maddog” Mavridoglou (trumpet, keyboards, vocals), Brad Myers (guitar, vocals), Nick Blasky (bass, vocals), Jason Smart (drums), and Matthew Hawkins (percussion) will play two long sets of concert favorites from their impressive discography, widely available on all streaming platforms, along with some tasty treatments of familiar tunes, and some special guests. This year's reunion will be extra special because Ray’s Music Exchange is joining forces with the longtime Cincinnati Afro-beat Funk powerhouse Ernie Johnson From Detroit! There will be MAYHEM ON MAIN STREET as the two bands create an EPIC evening of music that will start at 7 p.m. at the Woodward Theater with Ray’s Music Exchange and guests from EJFD followed by Ernie Johnson From Detroit’s annual Thanksgiving party at MOTR Pub right across the street from 10:30 p.m. on until 1 a.m., featuring some of the RME crew sitting in with Ernie! This is the perfect appetizer to bring all the friends and “phamily” together for a raucous night of music before the big feast of Thanksgiving.
