This unique event will begin the hour before sunset on Friday, August 1st, Lughnasadh, at the turning of the seasonal wheel from Summer towards Autumn. Join us for this amazing collaboration of some of the most evocative folk and original world music acts in Cincinnati’s greater musical region and the visual artistry of some of the city’s most creative light and projection artists. The Reliquary of Urban Artifact will lilt and hum to the tuneful and evocative melodies and stories of Kalynda (solo voice and harp), Damh and Dove (Viking Warrior Pipes and drum), and Hexxen (Nordic Diaspora Folk Fusion), while its vaulted ceiling is painted with light and imagery by Kosmik Ray joined by BB Hutch and Nightpain of Fig 8, immersing the listener in realms of entrancing mythos, movement, melody and ritual.
