His vast career started with his 1st self-titled Release on Elektra Records in the 70's. The studio band consisting of legendary players - "The Section" with Leland Sklar & Russ Kunkel AKA "The Immediate Family." In the late 70's Dana moved to Texas to be in a band with Shake Russell, releasing several albums together and performing on "Austin City Limits". His move to Nashville produced collaborations with several established artists - Kim Carnes (Betty Davis Eye's), Don Henry, Hal Ketchum, Kim Richey, Tom Kimmel & more.
"The Ghost of Tucumcari" is Dana's 32nd latest release. It has received Rave Reviews in American Songwriter, Glide Magazine, M Music Magazine, Americana Highways online and more. The Album features Lyle Lovett, Hayes Carll, Susan Gibson, Libby Koch, Shake Russell, Darden Smith & more.
