The beautiful, historic Sorg Opera house has teamed up with the Middletown Lyric Theatre to proudly present a one of a kind Christmas Celebration! Join us for a holiday presentation of the Charles Dickens classic "A Christmas Carol." Presented in the reader's theatre style, you'll listen to the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, the 3 ghosts, and many other timeless characters as portrayed by a small group of performers. The Sorg theater will be transformed into a beautiful winter wonderland that provides the perfect backdrop for this unique performance.
The evening will also include a celebration of holiday carols and music brought to you by some of Middletown Lyric Theatre's finest singers and musicians. This performance is made possible in part by a generous donation from the Middletown Community Foundation. There may be special guests and a few other holiday surprises in store, so mark your calendars and get your tickets today!
Free parking behind the building off of Broad Street and off of First Street.
