Herzog Harmony Series Presents:
Spirits of Hank with Arlo McKinley and Friends
Join Arlo McKinley and friends as they perform the eight songs Hank Williams recorded at the Herzog studio, including Hank Williams' first song to reach radio airwaves, "Lovesick Blues," along with "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry," "Lost on The River," "My Bucket's Got a Hole In It" and more. We'll be meeting on the anniversary of that legendary session, in the very space where it happened.
The performance will include commentary by Edwin Vardiman, and Arlo's friends include Sylvia Mitchell, Kelly Thomas, Moriah Haven, Tyler Lockard and Sarah Davis; the group recorded these songs live in the space in 2012, and will present a reissue of the recordings at the show. A $10 suggested donation at the door will benefit the Cincinnati USA Music Heritage Foundation.
