Ernie Johnson From Detroit returns with Vigilante — the band’s explosive fourth studio album and their first release with Denver’s legendary Color Red label. Mixed by acclaimed guitarist and producer Eddie Roberts (The New Mastersounds, The Breaks), Vigilante finds EJFD pushing deeper into the unknown: afrobeat grooves colliding with deep-pocket funk, heavy psychedelic rock detonations, and the horn-driven rhythmic assault that’s made the band one of the most electrifying live acts in the underground. Joining them is DANA — the avant-garage fever dream that has spent years cultivating a reputation for performances that feel equally hypnotic and dangerous.
